10 Random Facts About Me

Hey ya'll! I hope you're doing great. I think it would be fun to do a post about random stuffs about our selves, so we get to know one another. I rarely talk about myself in person, let alone online so maybe this is a good timing. Please post some random facts about you too as I'd like to know more about you. The comment section is yours. Without further delay, here they are :

  1. I am coffee drinker, I'd be grumpy if I don't get my daily dose of caffeine. I wouldn't be able to concentrate either. Coffee is like a life saver for me, even it's smell is enough to improve my mood.

  2. I love anything pastels, be it jewelry, wall paint or anything. I also used to collect pastel nail polish but I found out they were harder to apply and leave streaks, so I gave up and toss them away. Since we're planning to refresh our home, pastel paint and decors are definitely on my wishlist. I don't have pastel outfits, though as they don't compliment my skin tone, darn!

  3. I tried to write my own novel a few years back, but it sucks big time that I didn't bother trying to back it up when my old laptop died.

  4. I secretly wish for a new baby, sssh! There are too many doubts with this, however. I am not sure if I am physically capable for a new family member (full time job + 2 young children + 1 husband = tired mom).

  5. I am small and petite, you won't find me in the crowd. I am only 152 cm tall and my weight is 42 kilograms. This is also why sometimes I shop in junior sections. I wish I was taller though or bigger so it's easier when buying outfits.

  6. I don't have Twitter account, don't know how to use it either. I mean, what kind of stuff can you write in 140 characters? It certainly is not enough for anything important. Can you please enlighten me?

  7. I find minimalism concept to be overrated, especially in home decor. Oh, not to mention they're generally black and while (especially the one they call "industrial"). I simply don't understand the hype. I believe it makes your house looks unhappy. Unhappy looking house equals unhappy inhabitants. Not. Fot. Me.

  8. Bon Jovi is my most favorite band and "Always" is one of the best songs ever.

  9. I am terrified of balloons. I never sit near them whenever I am invited to a party. I am so afraid of the sound when they're popped. It scares the heck out of me.

  10. I have extreme phobia of needles. I refuse to take any kind of injection unless is a matter of life and death.

I also dont find minimalist style appealing. I always like bright colorful furniture with books and stuffs everywhere.. It doesnt look comfy.

Ohh.. you are so light! I have to go on diet but been meaning to put it off because I am still breastfeeding. It is so hard to give up carbs :D

Ugh, tell me about it! I am glad I am not the only one who's not into it. Yes, I am very light indeed, I wish to gain more weight and I am so envious with those curvy girls. I wish I am still breastfeeding as well, because it gave me good appetite. Send my hugs to your boys, Dils! :)
I'm also still breastfeeding! I've lost a bunch of weight doing it, though I still have 20 lbs (~9 kg) to go before I'm at my ideal weight.

Wish you all the best with your breastfeeding journey apizzagirl. Send my kisses to your child! :)
I find Twitter amazing for the same reason you don't get it. Trying to say something in 140 characters is tough most of the time but I prefer it to the ever-lasting updates some people post on Facebook. It's simple and on point and you can always rant there posting a few tweets hahaha and a random fact about me connected to your post is that I don't like needles - this is the reason why I haven't got a tattoo even though I want one so badly - and when doctors have to take a blood sample, I'm terrified. When I'm about to have my blood taken out, I need to look away.... however, I love to watch how the blood comes out into the little bottle and then, when they take out the needle I need to look away again. Weird much? I thought so hahahah

Oh, please write a some kind Twitter tutorial for dummies like myself, Noelia. Some people are so attach to it, there must be something interesting behind Twitter. Maybe it's time for me to create an account? I also looked away whenever they popped a needle into my skin. And during labor I had so many needles done to me, injections, sutures *trembles*

I find it kind of funny that you don't like needles, but you don't mind seeing blood in the bottle hahaha xD
I love twitter. I've made so many friends there. It's the one place where I feel like I can be (almost) fully uncensored. At first it can be hard though to build up a network to where you feel like a community. When I started (a long time ago) I used it only to keep track of my tips when I was delivering pizza.

A couple of random fact about me:
I play and run tabletop RPGs. Right now I'm running a game of Eclipse Phase.
I have moderately bad social anxiety. It's mostly internal, so most people who meet me don't realize how anxious I am.
If I had the money to travel, the first place I'd go would be the catacombs in Paris. I know it's macabre, but I'm fascinated by them.

So you keep track of your tips with Twitter? Now, that's awesome! All right, I need to create a Twitter account a.s.a.p. I feel like a dinosaur, honestly and of course, I might have missed a lot of interesting things by not having it. Thank you for stopping by, apizzagirl :)
You are tiny! I'm only 159cm tall so usually I am the tiny one. I love twitter for promoting my blog posts and joining in twitter chats is really fun. I never saw the point of it before I had my own blog but I do find it hard to keep up with as I don't enjoy being on my own all day. Funny thing about minimalism I dont' like it in my home but I'm trying to streamline my closet into more basic stuff as I don't care for shopping much anymore and find colours can be difficult to pair together if like me you have all the colours and prints in your wardrobe. Great post!

Hahaha, 159 is quite tall for a girl for Asian standard :) Yes, I am tiny and very often confused as an underage girl. I hate when it happens, you know because people tend not to take you seriously. That's why I always take my children with me, so they'll treat me as an adult xD Oh, I do find prints and non basic colors are harder to mix and match, but I love prints (especially for hijabs), they're so irresistible.
Ooh, I hate needles too! I think we are the same that way! I didn't know how much you liked pastel colours though :) That's pretty cool! You should try writing one time again. Personally I love writing ^^

High five! I am glad I am not alone. I wonder how those who get tattoos get through it *shivers* Oh, I do enjoy writing, that's why I set up this blog. As for writing my own book, err... I'd just leave it to the people who know what they're doing haha xD
