Blogging Goals for 2015

Hello everyone, happy holidays to you! Only a few days left on this year. For me, it has been an amazing journey and an important one. It's the year where my firstborn on going to school for the first time, starting an Etsy business and also the year of taking my blog more seriously. Well, I have been serious about it since day one, but this is the moment that I finally dedicate my time for it.

Talking about being a serious blogger, I have some plans for it which I hope will help it grow. I wish blogging burnout won't touch me soon because I have lots of things to do, so let's take a peek:

Goal #1 : to read more classics

I have been thinking about this since last year, actually. As some of you may have known, I wasn't really into classic book and my hesitation kept me from picking them up. Now I believe I am a more mature reader and of course a more open-minded one, I am finally have the courage to put it into my 2015 goal. There are too many gems I'd missed if I were to ignore this ancient beauties.

Goal #2 : to post more regularly

I am still learning this skill and it's a big learning curve. It made me realize that you should post because you have something to say instead of posting just for the heck of it. The problem is, sometimes, nope, many times, you will run out of ideas or energy to write. My guts tells me that this writing skill will take a long time to master but, gosh, how I want to have it instantly!

Goal #3: to get more readers and followers

Sure, who doesn't want more blogging friends? That's my main motivation, actually. It's fun to see familiar faces stop by to drop you comments. It warms my heart and I'd like to do the same. I will stop by on my friends' blog more frequently to let them know how much I appreciate their posts.

Goal #4: to explore more topics

This is an important one. I want my blog to have various content without being out of topic. I am still struggling every time I try to find some ideas. I hope this new year will help inspiring me to find some interesting stuffs to write about and as a fellow blogger, I wish you the same too, my friends!

That's wrap, folks! I hope I can reach them all by the end of 2015. Now, let's talk about your goals. Do you have any? What are thing you wish to accomplish in the following year?

Maybe you can start Wuthering Heights for classic! I want to read it because I want to see what everyone is referring to. A lot of pop culture have reference to Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice( which you can survive by not reading because of the popular movie but I LOVE the book and the BBC miniseries ) and Catcher on the Rye, I felt like I was missing out on some conversation if I dont read it.

Maybe next on my list finding some works by Hemingway.

Aww... Dils, thank you for your recommendation. I'll definitely read them and I also heard a lot of good things about Catcher in The Rye. They say it's one of the funniest book ever, well I have soft spots for anything humorous :)
