Discussion : Ever Thought of Starting More Blog?

Ha, I know some of you would chuckle as soon as you read the title. One blog is hard enough to take care of, let alone two. Well, of course you have passions other than books, or whatever you are blogging about! So, the big question is, would you blog about it?

To tell you the truth, my passion for fashion and beauty is even bigger than my passion for books. I love reading style blogs, seeing people showcasing their outfits and reviewing their newly bought beauty products. I enjoy shopping for outfits and makeup and when I do, I feel instantly invigorated. Books, in the other hand, give me much different effect. Books calm me down and they keep me relax. So, I need them all to keep my life in balance and to stay sane.

I want to have my own style blog, too. But I stick with books.

Because I am not comfortable with camera, for God's sake! If you friend me on Facebook, you should know that I rarely upload my own picture. Let's face it, I just don't have what it takes to be a style blogger. Yes, I have the passion, yes, I like trying different makeup looks, but those aren't enough. Not until I make the camera as my best friend. So I applaud every style bloggers out there for their courage and confidence, trust me, not to look ridiculous in picture isn't an easy thing to do. Especially for awkward person like me!

So, I think I'd just blog about books. It's not a very demanding topic, after all and in my case, it's actually more budget friendly. I can borrow my friend's book, even my workplace has a enough collection of books (although it's abandoned know, which is a big shame). Oh, and there's always NetGalley if you are looking for ARC. I can't imagine having to dig deeper in my wallet to constantly buy new outfits and beauty products. I have kids to take care of and bills to pay every month. Although I still buy them regularly, it's nowhere enough for blogging.

Or maybe I just don't know fashion blogging tricks? Anyhow, I don't care and for now, talking about books is enough to fulfill my need to write.

I am so curious about you! Do you have any other passions besides books or whatever topics you are blogging? What is it? Food, craft, decor? Ever consider to blog about it? Tell us!

I love reading beauty blogs, my Bloglovin feed is full of them. I have a section on my blog for beauty/lifestyle so that I can write about other things that inspire me. I probably only do one out of ten posts on it but it's nice to have that option if I feel like talking about things beside books. You could always add a beauty section to your blog as it is now, I'd read it!

I am a huge animal lover. At one point.. my cats it is all I ever updates. ( after all I dont have kids yet at the time and I have no social life ) until someone remarked saying that reading my blog is like I can haz cheezburger blog. Was a little offended because hey.. it is my blog.. I can blog whatever I want.

Also at one point I really want to do TV recaps and reviews blogs .. because aside from reading I am huge fans of US tv shows ( and some UK shows )... but that is really time consuming and time is never our friend. Heh.

I agree that I always admire people who have style blogs. To make it work you need to have good eyes and know how to capture a nice pic for your OOTD. I hate selfie and I dont do make ups so style blogs was never a thing that spark my interest, but if the writing is interesting, I will stop by to read their blogs.
I love photography and movies. They'll add nicely in my daily post. Btw. you must read "time traveling fashionista"....maybe it's your genre..
