As for scary books, I'd say go for the Anna Dressed in Blood Series by Kendare Blake. I don't read a lot of horror but I found this one really creepy!

After see your shop, so hard to choose. I think you have fabulous premade template collection, all are simple yet still eye catching. My favorite is "Sea Breeze", but it simply because I love the blue color :) . If I can suggest, please make blogger templates with bookish theme :)
For any scary book recommendation, I usually avoid horror books :P. But I will recommend Spook's Apprentice. This is middle grade dark fantasy that also feature ghosts

My favorite is Bright and Simple, because it has kind of brown-orange feeling, my favorite tone.
Scary book? Errr..... it's the genre I try my best to avoid :p I don't like horror. But I've ever read a movie adaptation book (in bookstore of course, I will never buy such a thing), from an Indonesian horror movie, Kuntilanak. I assumed you know well how frightening Indonesian domestic ghosts can be. :D

Karena blogku mayoritas berisi review romance, jadi penginnya yang sedikit manis tapi tetap terkesan unik, melihat kebribadian diriku dan genre fantasy yang juga turut dominan. Yang nggak terlalu ngejreng tetapi lembut, tidak mencolok mata, tetap terkesan romantis tetapi masih bersahabat bagi mereka yang tidak menyukai warna-warna yang cewek banget. Simple tetapi apa yang terpenting tetap tertuang di blog. Ingin postingan atau isi blog yang menjadi sorotan utama. Sebenarnya aku ngincar dua template yaitu Morning Mist dan The Photographer karena mencerminkan apa yang aku inginkan tadi. karena pilihannya cuma satu jadi aku memilih The Photographer, huruf untuk nama blog terkesan unik dan menjadi alasan utama aku memilih template ini, sesuai kepribadianku :D
Untuk rekomendasi scary book, coba baca buku Aku Tahu Kamu Hantu by Evi Shi mbak, penulis pinter banget menciptakan aura yang membuat bulu roma pembaca begidik ngeri :)

Desain-desain blognya manis-manis banget. Simpel tapi masih ada unsur ceweknya (bahasa apa pulalah aku ini) >.<
Saking banyaknya pilihan jadi bingung mau pilih template yang mana. Tapi akhirnya aku pilih template "Something Colorful". Aku suka blog berwarna ceria tapi dalam "porsi" yang nggak terlalu berlebihan. Dan.. Something Colorful tepat jadi pilihan.
Rekomendasi scary book, aku sih selama ini nggak pernah baca buku bergenre itu karena aku ini orangnya penakut. Dan cerita-cerita seperti itu sering terbawa dalam mimpiku. Pengalamanku membaca buku horor cuma sebatas Goosebumps-nya R.L. Stine waktu jaman SMP. Hahahaha.. Tp kalau ditanya rekomendasi, dari beberapa review teman-teman yang kubaca, buku Aku Tahu Kamu Hantu -Evi Shi ataupun Penunggu Puncak Ancala - Acen Trisusanto dkk itu kabarnya cukup menyeramkan.

Since I already use your Bright and Simple template, I want to pick 'The AWESOME Celebration' template :D
I love bold color. I like how you harmonize white basic background with colorful header and icon sidebar. It spice up the blog though you descibe it's sof pastel, honestly I dont really can determine the difference hehe. Anyway, I chose it because it's close to my personality and the way how I want to represent my bold character in my blog without looking too much. So it;s perfect to me.
As for scary books. Easy. I've read a couple myself. I'd like to recommend you goosebumps series. But if you like to try Indonesian books, you must read Penunggu Puncak Ancala, it's based on true story from Indonesia mountain hikers. The ghosts are real and I still found it really hard to sleep at night for a couple of days after I read this. You love to read a scary book? Indonesia is one of the rich country with oral story. You should read Perempuan Poppo'. A book by Dul Abdul Rahman talk about the women evil from Bulukumba, Sulawesi. She could eat human. Sssttt...this book is a good combination scary and culture. You should read.
