I used to think that images aren't that important for a blog post unless it is a tutorial. Now I know that they're are indeed important because nowadays, with all the social media around the net. you want your post to get noticed. People are more drawn into images rather than full text post. Well, the saying "image is worth a thousand words" is not without reason, right? This is by far my most favorite site. It's very neat and it has search feature. The term of use is very easy, you are free to use the image for both personal and commercial use, no credit required. I usually browse the "editor's picks" section which will treat you with awesome images. The library is quite large, so you can find image for almost every topics.
123rf.com isn't actually a free photo site. It's mainly a paid service and you can find many great pictures if you don't mind to spend some money for it. Still, it has a free photo section and you can find it with a search feature. You have to register as a member before you can download the picture, but if you have Google ID already, it should be enough, you can log in with it. The free photo are small in size, but if you know how to use photo editor, you can edit it by adding text below the picture, etc so it will look bigger. The free images are there for a limited time, so if you find an image you like, go ahead and download it before it expires.
I have just recently discovered this website. In a glace, it's pretty similar with Pixabay, and it has a popular section for the photos which includes tons of pretty images. The search feature is available too, which is for me, a must-have for a photo websites. You will notice that there are same pictures that you can find on Pixabay too (photographers are mostly members of various stock photo sites). Overall, great website for stunning free images.
IM Free
IM Free is also a very neat site with a lot of photo selections to choose from. It also divided them in certain categories that helps visitors to find what they're looking for. The plus side of this website is the images are very artistic and they don't look like typical stock photos at all and they're eye catchy, perfect for pinable images or cool thumbnail pictures.
Well, folks, I hope you find this post useful. Take a look at your blog post planner, if you have one and start searching for relevant pictures. Do you also have a go to site to find pictures? What is it?
