My Top 5 Bookish Confessions

Everyone has a confessions to make, and that includes me. Ah, looks like I've never made any bookish confessions post in this blog. I know you might seen similar posts around especially in memes, but since I don't really participate them, I guess I should make one for my self. Some of mine are little bit weird and so not bookworm-ish, but well, that's what it is. Here they are, I present these to you. Do drops some of your confessions, too if you don't mind, the comment section is yours *winks*

#1 Sometimes I get bored of reading
Sounds impossible? Oh, it happens to me! Quite often, as a matter of fact. This boredom usually strikes me during my busy days. Just seeing a book makes my head dizzy, let alone reading it. I am just not interested, period. This "dark phase" can sit there for weeks, and usually when I am not in the mood to read, my blogging mood disappears too.

#2 I don't like reading young adult books
I have mentioned this in a separate post actually. See this link if you want to read my reasons : Why I Am Not Really Into Young Adult Books. To sum in up, I just can't find the sweet spot in that particular genre. There are many things I dislike in it, the excessive love triangle, repetitive theme (the dystopians for example) etc. I do like some young adult books though, Harry Potter series, for example, but still, not many of them.

#3 I love reading children's book
This seems to be odd, but I am never tired children books. They're always in my to-read list because they catch my attention. I like their cover, they're usually colorful with pretty illustration and the best part of it is, most of the time there's always a moral behind the story, like how important a friendship is, or that you should never give up on your self, etc. I'd rather read this kind of thing than how important-it-is-to-have-a-boyfriend theme in YA books.

#4 I still have doubts for classic books
Judge me all you want, but that's the truth from me. Till date, I still hesitate whether or not to add classic books into my to-read list. I loved me some classics, but sometimes the theme, the writing style are just not my liking. However, deep down I believe that there are so many great classic books out there, all I have to do is to be determined enough to find them.

#5 I actually prefer electronic books
There, I said it. I don't understand why some people are so cynical with this new invention. Who cares about smelling paper? I like paper books, but I am so in love with ebooks. It really understand me, ya know. I don't have to own a large space to store them and since my favorite series are big fat tomes, paper book is not an option. I want to read, not weight lifting *sighs* Oh, here's a post of mine about ebook vs paper book : The Neverending Ebook vs Paperbook.

Okay, that's a wrap, folks! Yay, I knew it's going to be fun *giggles* Now, what are some of your bookish confessions you'd like to share?
